Publications Committee (PC)

The Publications Committee (PC) advises the Board of Trustees on publishing strategies and activities. It works with the Executive to ensure a robust strategy for SCI journals are in place.
SCI’s publications portfolio is a range of globally renowned research journals, advancing cutting edge and emerging technologies that may be applied by innovative industry to solve societal challenges, such as addressing the climate change crisis, sustainability and improving health and wellbeing. The journals are multidisciplinary and cover sustainable materials, hydrogen and renewable energy, biomaterials and healthy food.

Elections for new Committee Members take place at the AGM every July. And the PC meets up to twice a year. Each year there is an open meeting, which all members are invited to attend.

PC members bring a wide range of science and business experience. In-depth experience of publishing is not a pre-requisite for membership – this develops through participation in PC - and new perspectives are especially welcomed.
