Hazards is IChemE's leading process safety conference series, sharing best practice, latest research and lessons learned to help embed the highest possible standards of process safety within the chemical and process industries.

Hazards 26 will review the themes that are fundamental to managing process safety effectively, with a programme that will feature leading speakers from industry, academia and regulatory bodies. Keynote speakers will provide their own strategic view of the process safety challenge. There will be an exhibition of related products and services alongside the conference, and plenty of opportunities to network with the international process safety community.



The conference programme will comprise of:

  • process safety research and development from regulators, operators, academics and other interested parties
  • lessons learned from new and revisited case studies
  • human factors/communications/safety management systems
  • effective safety management
  • safety culture and the challenge of global operations
  • education and training to build and maintain safety knowledge, skill and competence
  • legislative developments, compliance and best practice
