Online Webinar: 17:30 - 18:30 GMT

This event is no longer available for registration.

Andy’s talk will cover the design principles behind innocent’s project to build it’s first ‘own’ factory in Rotterdam.  His focus will be to explain how it’s possible that engineering can support businesses to balance the needs of people, the planet and profit.  We are all challenged to figure out the pathway to transition to Net Zero.  The blender design is operationally carbon neutral.  Andy and innocent drinks want to open-source their learning to help engineers in other businesses progress on their net zero journeys.

Please note that this page is for registering for the webinar so that you can watch a stream of the event.

Andy Joynson

Director of European Operations, Innocent (2019 - 2022)

Andy brings change into operations. He is led by a desire to find new and positive ways to answer today’s challenges. Identifying new ways for supply chains and factories to be different and better, and to demonstrate how they can be more sustainable for the planet and people who work there. He joined innocent drinks in 2019 to build the earth’s favourite little healthy drinks factory in Rotterdam, ‘the blender’.

Under his leadership the blender dramatically reduces innocent’s overall carbon footprint. It will be carbon neutral, incorporating the newest ideas to both conserve and to source zero emissions energy. It also maximises water conservation and recycling of resources, utilising innovative technology specifically developed for the blender. The blender will achieve the highest standards of construction for sustainability in the materials used and in design for an environment that takes care of people’s wellbeing.

Andy studied Engineering at Loughborough University of Technology and started his career at Cadbury. He then worked in senior Supply Chain roles across a range of food & drink businesses, both manufacturing and retail, including PepsiCo, Cott beverages, Morrisons & Warburtons.
